With the vast variety of hardware setups, collection methods, and data formats, as well as lack of standardized bias assessments, figuring out whether a dataset is useable can be a major challenge.
We want to change that.

We're named after a species of translucent sea slug, as a very on-the-nose metaphor for data transparency.
Is dataset information checked for accuracy?
Yes! User edits are regularly monitored and periodically reviewed for accuracy. We are also working on adding stronger support for page citations and version control for improved transparency.
